Gerardo Mendez joined the III FFC in 2018 as a Construction Analyst for Illinois in Cook County. Prior to working at the III FFC, Gerardo worked as a project accountant for The Walsh Group. He has over 10 years experience in the accounting field. Gerardo left the accounting field to pursue teaching where he taught 2 years as a third-grade elementary school teacher in East Chicago and Gary, Indiana. Gerardo received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Robert Morris University and studied Primary Education at Calumet College of St. Joseph.
