Thomas Haley has dedicated most of his adult life to advocating for workers in the workplace. He is a former rank and file member of SEIU Local 73 at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. During his tenure, he held positions as steward, bargaining team member, and Chapter Board of Trustees, all of which were elected by his peers. Thomas also held a leadership position on staff at the Local as an External Organizer, going into workplaces and helping workers form their unions, eventually climbing to the position of Senior Organizer. Thomas joined the III FFC in April of 2018 as a Construction Analyst in Illinois.
