IIIFFC hosted an hour-long webinar on Home Rule in Illinois in May 2024. Kara Principe, Attorney at the IIIFFC, discussed the basics of what Home Rule is. Then, Jason Bielawski, Roselle Village Administer, discussed their recent experience becoming Home Rule and what it means for their community’s critical public infrastructure projects.
