Josh Weger leads III FFC’s policy development, strategic planning, and research & analysis. Prior to joining III FFC, he spent four years as Deputy Director of the Illinois Capital Development Board. At CDB Josh managed a $3.9 billion construction program and directed a staff of 60 architects, engineers, project managers, and support staff. Prior to his work at CDB, Josh was employed at the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, where he held positions including Policy Director and Region Manager. Before joining DCEO, Josh was employed by the Office of the Illinois Auditor General and the Illinois House of Representatives. He has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Political Science, both from the University of Illinois Springfield.
